analyzing the laptop Outwardly we notice the good quality that the producer (HP) offers its customers. Solid keyboard with large keys and with little space between them, no squeaks or uncertainties of the chassis, good wi ....... all in all, a common product, up to here. In my case, unfortunately I had to endure some cosmetic changes (if you can define XD) due to non-care used by the previous owner: the keyboard a bit 'curved in zone I, J, K, L, and the cover of the DVD is missing. Both still work well, but aesthetically the curved keyboard does not help, and if you add that to open the drawer of the DVD player must press practically on the circuit, certainly does not shine for aesthetic beauty. These, in my opinion, are not attributable to damage the same manufacturer, since they obviously get by humans (not very smart XD) who did not take proper care of things.
Now for the real test of ports and functionality: the back of the laptop does not have doors since, as in many HP notebooks, the hinge of the screen rotates to bring the underside of the display (the edge, so to speak) at base, and then hold the screen lower than that of normal notebook. Personally I did not notice substantial differences between this solution and others. On the left side are the majority of ports, a modem for those who use the phone to connect to the internet, the air intake where the air exits the fan blowing into the VGA port for connecting external monitors (I personally work with an Acer AL1916W 19 "1440x900 at 75Hz and I feel good), the power supply (not always necessary), the power cable for the network (LAN), 2 USB 2.0 ports and slots for PCMCIA card in added. The front panel has a card reader (SD, MS, Pro-MMC, XD) that connects directly to a board pc camera. I use a 2GB SD card, perfect for keeping your data safe not only Hard Disk. Any coupon entered, remains fully "embedded" in the PC, as the base of the keyboard is slightly sloping towards the base of the laptop, it is often forgotten completely that it was placed, and were it not that every so often, opening My PC appears as volume mass, you do not think at all. Then there are the jack for the speakers, integrated microphone and jack for external microphones. On the right side are the ports: 2 USB 2.0 (and with the other two on the opposite side, make it easy to connect devices without cable "hanged"), the DL and DVD player connected to the cable Kesington Lock.
In normal PC is particularly responsive without ever losing the its stability and without ever becoming "too" noisy. When using the Internet, mail, MSN and Office in general, the PC is quiet peaceful, with the fan to a minimum. The temperatures used in Office are: - Motherboard: 42 ° - Core 1 / 2: 38 ° - Disc: 36 °. Looking at these values, the experienced user will certainly shocked: temperatures are too low for a laptop! Under load the fan becomes rather noisy, making audible only in the case of total absence of external noise (eg at night) or at least at a distance of 20-30 cm from the chassis. In this case, the temperatures rise a bit, doing to get the motherboard on the 50 th and the core 45-48 °, with the disk that I touched a peak of 38 °: temperature absolutely excellent! For the temperature so low on the processor, I have made changes to the voltage with RMClock, software that allows you to lower the voltage of the processor in order to keep it stable and warming by consuming less. Originally, the values \u200b\u200bare: for a 6x multiplier (if nothing is done, 1.2 Ghz, minimum usage, processor load below 50%) 0925 V, for a multiplier of 10.5x (when you play, 2.1 Ghz, use maximum) 1150 Volt. This value is set to "high" from Intel during production to ensure stable operation of the processor even in the most unfortunate. In my case I am successful, taking the maximum multiplier (ie maximum frequency), to bring the voltage to the minimum (10.5xa 0925 Volt), stable and always fresh ^ ^. The processor now consumes a maximum of 22.4 watts (versus 35 watts default), and heat as a bulb of equal wattage.
Other hints that can not be ignored are: the battery, which provides a range of about 4 hours (heavy, I lasted 4 hours with maximum brightness of the display, which bothered the eyes XD), integrated Bluetooth, thanks the button near the power cord can be activated without too many tricks and software built-in webcam: he can do video at 640x480 (30fps) and photos to 640x480. Regarding
integrated graphics card Intel HD X4500M one immediately realizes that current games can not circled, if not decreasing so much detail and playing in a "sacrifice." Test Drive Unlimited is playable at 640x480 with minimal details, with some shots, while Assassin's Creed runs at 640x480 minute details, without slowing down until they look at one area too long. In leap of faith is regretted a dedicated video card (: D). The rest is the first integrated intel card with ability to decode HD video in hardware, downloading each processor load. A great advantage if we consider together the wonderful autonomy which allows it becomes a good compromise between battery life and performance. In my opinion, the other graphics card purchase configurable (Ati Radeon HD3410) dedicated, can have the best compromise between the two factors, maybe 15-20 minutes in losing autonomy, but multiplying by 3 or 4 performance in graphics chip instead Intel leaves to be desired.
Finally remember that, being a Centrino system (2), this handset allows connections in the most used standard (Bluetooth and Wireless), allowing even outclass performance using office systems with non-Intel chipset and Intel CPUs.

Thanks for reading my post, Whity:).
