I signed the first cruise scrap, thinking that Costa had implemented my suggestion ... the end of a summer cruise, in fact, not only had written in the questionnaire instead of the courses on folding napkins and painting of the fans, organized during the hours of browsing, I would have preferred to scrapbooking courses, but I asked for and obtained an interview with the head of creative workshops, I had talked about the album I was doing and I also said I was a bit 'tired of buildings by stickers in one theme and that I would find acceptable in the board shop.

Of course I did not have any merit! The first cruise started on the initiative of scrap Sabrina Hobby Charter and her friends, who are now also my friends ... even if they have threatened to no longer be so, because after three wonderful cruises in 2007, 2008 and 2009, in 2010 did not organize anything and fortunately recovered for 2011 ...

Seriously, even if our hard working teachers organize year-round courses and meetings, publish their creations on the blog, the one who can teach courses on board durations is indescribable, as unique atmosphere that is created between us when students are not only shares the laboratory, but also the life on board and excursions.

Also accompanying that scrapbooking is not bored, because the ship has many hobbies, but when we get back in the cabin at the end of the course are already there waiting for us, curious to see what wonderful colors out of our scrap-bags.

The possibility of membership are 2:

• card only Nordic Walking: It costs € 10 and includes insurance RCT (vs. Third Party Liability) and special rates in various shops and businesses trade area (you will receive a booklet at home with a detailed list).
• pass complete : the cost is 20 €. It has the same characteristics as above, but are also provided in addition to special rates in several lifts.

Next Cruise Scrap Hobby Charter will be my fourth cruise! Every year we have crossed several routes and itineraries, but it may be that those already with us you can find steps that it has done in previous editions or on trips of different types.
The hours available for the outputs never allow to see everything that offers a step is necessary to make a choice on things to see and how the visit. For some stages such as recommend the use of a guide and organized tour, but other destinations can be addressed by hiring a taxi just might share with family and friends.
Based on my previous experience I want to tell something about the stages of this year, in order to entice them to leave with us and introduce better landscapes, folklore and cultural attractions that await you during your trip. Today we speak of
Tunis and show you what I have visited in the cruise stage of 2009.
We arrived early morning at the port of La Goulette and immediately I was struck by the white of the buildings, the beaches and the East, we are in Tunisia!

Tunis appears to our eyes with a double role: the modern city and the Arab (the to Medina).
The first crossed by long avenues, with modern shops, large hotels and luxury buildings, and the second, closed by the ancient walls of the fortifications, allows visitors to walk in the narrow alleys of little shops to explore.
Unfortunately, the duration of our stage I requires a choice and then decide to visit the picturesque village of Sid Bou Said and follow the route to the discovery of archaeological remains Carthage.

Sidi Bou Said, 17 km from Tunis is a country with distinctive white and blue colors dominating.
The landscape here is highly reminiscent of the atmosphere of the countries of the Greek islands, the architecture of houses painted in pastel blue and white, flowers and plants that sprout from tiny gardens wedged between walls whitewashed. It 's a pleasure to stroll through its narrow streets and stop to drink a mint tea in a bar that overlook the main square overlooking the sea, just above the small sandy beach in the country.

Here the craft is flourishing and distinctive and we could not help but visit the shops and make small purchases!

Our tour then proceeds with the view of the ruins of Carthage The city, founded as a Phoenician trading base, first passed in to Roman rule and then under the dominion of the Arabs who destroyed who used the ruins to build near Tunis.

The most scenic area, however, going down to the sea, consists of the monumental ruins of the Baths of Antoninus Pius , a major archaeological park planted with trees, which gives way to a plateau with the remains of the Baths place just below the existing building Tunisian president (you can see in the picture the white wall that acts as a fence of the building with armed guards at the slits).








Our ship in port waiting for us ...

.. and unfortunately I could not see the city, the market of Medina and the beaches of Tunisia ... but fortunately coming back for the next cruise I will have the opportunity to fill the gap.
Tunis will not be our only stop in Tunisia ... visit also Gabes, located in the gulf before the island of Djerba.

will be held Sunday, October 10 the 38th edition of the "March of the Castles" , a traditional event for many years is a benchmark for runners of Treviso.

And for the 3rd time there in the street also fans of Nordic Walking, which will travel the route by 13 km with an instructor in our school.

The route is mostly flat, and then be faced by all (and given the non-competitiveness of the event there is the possibility of diverting the path of 6 km).

The departure is scheduled for 9:15 am from the square of Orsago , where there will be a booth for subscriptions and rental of clubs (subject to availability, at a cost of € 3, and after receiving deposit of an identity document)

The registration fee is € 2, € or 3.5 with prizes, a delicious dairy caciotta of Roverebasso, which will be delivered on arrival.

In addition, upon arrival, many prizes will be raffled among the participants (of course, given the sophistication of the event, there are mainly "wine "...)

But since we love a challenge, we propose for the second time, the most daring, the challenging route from 24 km, this year, "a Trophy Lafuma" .

Given the length of the track, the departure is scheduled for 8 am , again from square Orsago.

Registration for this course is 8 €, inclusive of caciotta, a bottle of wine and, new this year, the first 9 members also will receive a t-shirt technique Lafuma.

Participants in this course also will participate in the final of a beautiful technical backpack always marked "Lafuma", perfect for the outputs of one day.

There will last, as every year, stocked refreshment along the way and upon arrival.

On this path you will have the opportunity to follow an instructor at our school, but who will have "good leg" will have no limitations of any kind and may give "relief to horses" of your engine!
