This movie is more than 35 years old. The protagonists are two young Australian, John Rendall and Anthony Bourke, and their ex-lion cub. After living some time together in London and have separated for about a year, the three find themselves in 1972 in a nature reserve in Kenya. As shown in the movie The Lion, now grown up and wild, when seen from afar the two young Australians, begins to run and shows all its joy and affection by his party to its owners as would a dog.
all began in 1969 when Bourke and Rendall bought in London for a few dollars a lion cub and decided to call it Christian. The two boys got the parish priest of the area in which they lived allowed to raise the cub in the pitch located near the church and takes care of him for a couple of years. Christian, however, soon became too big and young Australians realized he could no longer live in that corner of town. They got in touch with an environmentalist who lived in Kenya and, reluctantly decided to take it in a nature reserve of the African country where he grew quickly and soon became a pack leader.
