Here we are talking about something that fascinates me so to speak: the router.
These "gadgets", in my view, have always been the jungles of codes, IP addresses, DNS and stuff.
Personally I thought that installing and configuring a router for those who had something "it means" a technical or perhaps with an outline of what to do (including the steps of proprietary software) are able to better configure the everything.
I almost got there "must", since a D-Link router I was given at birth. First of all I realized that the initial choice should be accurate, it is easy to fall back on products based on older standard "b" and "g" and especially the wrong source of internet ............ them because if you buy a router you also have to be careful about what they should be connected in input! Then there are the so-called "modem router" with the incoming twisted pair (RJ-11) and the basic concept is simple. Okay having said that I hope to have introduced more or less what may be the feeling of buying a router and not yet knowing how to put the nose and how to do it in the least traumatic way possible.
Also a tip for you: remember that the wireless is composed of high frequencies that can damage if kept continuously alight the brain. I personally believe it or not, but I should not wonder if they went to the health of our marketing business and the ease of use, no?
I adopted this system: I'm using the wireless? Well then I turned on the machine that gives me this feature very noble. I turn off the computer to go to eat, to go to bed or go out? I turn off the router!
The easiest thing is to acquire a power strip (called strip =) in order to have more electrical outlets controlled by a switch. Here you make good use of this switch.
